The Syncopation Society Orchestra

Rufus temple orchestra – Syncopation Society

The Syncopation Society Orchestra specializes in the music of jazz orchestras from the mid-1920s to the mid-1930s. It is composed of 10 musicians, all active on the vibrant traditional Berlin jazz scene and part of the Syncopation Society's collective of musicians.

In order to remain faithful to the spirit of this music, they work on transcriptions and arrangements brought by Claus Jacobi (Senior Arranger known worldwide for his numerous transcriptions of the orchestras of this period).
Under the direction of François Perdriau, the orchestra integrates perfectly with the movement of swing dancers around the world.
