The "Syncopation Society Orchestra" (SSO) is a group of 10 musicians of the international musicians' the Berlin musician collective "Syncopation Society". The members come from Russia, France, Spain, Italy, England and Germany and are all active in the traditional European jazz scene. This ensemble focuses on the dance music of the first major jazz bands from the mid-1920s to the mid-1930s. In fact, there are only a few large ensembles throughout Europe that are dedicated to reviving the arrangements of the first major jazz ensembles.

Thanks to the arrangements and transcriptions of Claus Jacobi, the orchestra plays several repertoires, Fletcher Henderson Orchestra, King Oliver, Luis Russell Orchestra, Paul Howard.
The SSO is recording its first album for the release of the musical show "Elli et les Roarin' 20".
The orchestra gives a regular concert every month as part of the Berlin dance event "Swingtanz Macht Froh!". The SSO was also invited by the Italian producer Capcap Eventi to the Carnival of Swing in May 2020 and is booked for several performances in 2021.
