It invites the listener on a journey through time\, entices him or her to dance and spreads the joy of this music. The musicians dedicate themselves with passion to the tradition of Old Time Jazz in all its facets: meticulous and varied\, inspired by the sounds of the Paul Whiteman and Duke Ellington orchestras\, or uninhibitedly emotional\, driven by the sounds of New Orleans Jazz by Bunk Johnson or Sidney Bechet. Harmonious vocals and thrilling horn parts alternate with virtuoso solos and collective improvisations\, always driven by an unerring rhythm section. Sometimes the Time Rag Department swings and stomps like a steam engine\, sometimes the rhythm floats lightly and elegantly.
