Why swim when you can strut?
In the newest creation from Andrea Ramírez Ruiz & Jack B. Latimer,
fish are climbing out of the sea to roam the gritty mean streets of the city.
They’re doing the Charleston, the Camel-walk – they’re even playing trombone.
To celebrate the release of a new record of original compositions
“Original Rags & Tracks”,
the Rufus Temple Orchestra commissioned the pair to create
a music-video for their piece “Sashimi Strut”.
Taking almost a year from conception to completion,
this animation has proven to be their most ambitious project to date.
This afternoon event will feature both a live concert
from the Rufus Temple Orchestra and a screening in the intermission.
