The Big Five
Hence the name, the Big Five is most often a quintet, but it frequently expands to become a large family of Berlin musicians from a variety of backgrounds. In fact, the Big Five often rotates under the leadership of tenor singer Daniel Duspiwa. The current line-up is becoming a stronghold of swing music in Berlin and Germany. The band plays a well-honed repertoire rooted in the swing era of the 40s.
